Still loving the drive.
Two hours in, we're a tad stir crazy.
Banksy was here! Wow.
Thought we were about to witness a shrimp massacre. Thankfully, it turns out to be the eel's toothbrush.
Things I learned on the trip:
- Staying in a hotel next door to a Nestle Toll House cookie store is a BAD idea (3 days = a minimum of 4 trips to the cookies).
- Don’t judge an Indian restaurant by its sign (but do skip the Indian ice cream no matter what).
- It would take 18 of Gaby and me combined to equal the weight of one rhinoceros.
- Tahoe is chilly in the summer. Who knew? I did NOT bring appropriate clothing.
- Starbucks charges double when it’s located inside a casino. (Evidently, their rent at Harrah’s is $50,000/month! That’s a LOT of coffee.)
